About
Disclaimer:
This is my personal blog. It belongs to me and only me, not you, your Aunt Marg, Uncle Jack, twice-removed-then slept with my mother-married my sister’s daughter friend, or anyone else that might somehow be related in this thing we call life. The only exception to this is if I say, “Credit goes to…“, or something along those lines. If you’d like to link to something I said or to my site – please, feel free! If you’re linking images (which..I’m not sure why you would be), all I ask is that you don’t direct link. Okay? Okay. There may be some things I say that make you laugh, cry, shudder, cringe, or they may offend you. I have different beliefs, thoughts, and feelings than you – so this is to be expected. If my posts do make you any of these things or more, I’d love to know about it, and you can do so at x [@] twistedrocket [dot] com to let me know. I’m not promising I’ll change it to please you, but I will read and respond accordingly.
Now that you’ve read that, on to the good stuff.
My name is Rebecca, but mostly everyone calls me Becca. I prefer it over Rebecca, and strongly dislike Becky. Bec is okay, I guess. I’m 20 years old and live in a small town in Ontario, Canada. I’m currently in school, and as of April 2011 I will be finished my Social Services diploma, and will pay a ridiculous fee to become a registered Social Service Worker! Cool, ‘eh?
I’m head over heels for a certain guy, who also happens to be my best friend. Throughout my blog, he’ll most likely be referred to as Seaweed in the public posts, and by his natural name in the protected. We’ve been going strong since August 30, 2008, and I hope it’s much, much longer than that. Prior to dating Seaweed, I’d had a few relationships, and yes, I’m young, but this one just feels right. He’s my absolute best friend that I can talk to about anything (from toenail fungus, to clothings choices, to vehicle maintenance, hell, I can talk to him about my poops if I want), and he never, ever judges me. He’s gentle, kind, caring, good-hearted, a family guy, a great listener, and is always my 3 a.m. “I need someone now!” phone call. How we met was a fluke, but one I’ll never forget – and one I’m pretty glad about! Some might say our relationship is weird, and the things we do to/in front of each other are ridiculous, but it’s this kind of openness and trust that I’ve been looking for and wanting in a relationship. I can do absolutely anything in front of him and never feel ashamed or embarrassed. We’re just a couple of college lovebirds tryin’ to make it work, and I’d say we’re doing a pretty damn good job of it so far!
I'm a 20 year old college student residing in Canada. I'm sarcastic, blunt, and have quite a wide vocabulary. I'll admit to being judgmental and snotty, but it can also be called freedom of speech. I'm not afraid to share what I feel, so watch out! ...
