I saw a Facebook friend had ‘liked’ this status and really thought it spoke volumes to my feelings about today;
“I can’t remember. I have never served on a battlefield. I have never lost a loved one to war. I have never seen the horror, death, and destruction. I can’t remember, because I have never had to experience it. That is why today, I honour and thank those who served.“
